SusTec investigates organizational, technological and institutional changein the energy sector. We do this by adopting two complementary perspectives:The first focuses on the broader system level to analyze the role ofinstitutions, e.g. public policy, for innovation and diffusion of low-carbontechnologies. The second focuses on the firm level to explore corporatestrategies and organizational dynamics in the energy sector. The successful candidates are expected to conduct research in the field ofmanagement and/or technological change. Relevant disciplines in managementare strategy, technology and innovation management, entrepreneurship,international business or organizational behavior. Relevant research fieldsrelated to technological change include, but are not limited to, innovationstudies, evolutionary economics and technology assessments. The candidate'sempirical area of investigation should be related to energy, e.g. renewableenergy, energy efficiency, energy storage, electric vehicles or smart gridtechnologies. Both qualitative and quantitative research approaches arewelcome. We offer an entrepreneurial research atmosphere within a large and dynamicteam at a globally leading academic institution.
