You are invited to attend the 2011 conference of the University of Washington’s Center for Leadership and Social Responsibility. The conference will be held July 14-15, 2011 at the Tacoma campus of the University of Washington. Our theme this year is “Social Responsibility: Perceptions and Reality.”
This unique conference brings together scholars from a variety of business disciplines including management, marketing, accounting, finance and economics.
Highlights of the conference include:
* a panel discussion with top CSR executives from Boeing, Microsoft and Weyerhaeuser
* a keynote address by Dr. Philip Cochran regarding the strategic nature of social responsibility
Paper sessions include:
* Understanding Stakeholder Views of Social Responsibility
* How Auditors, Investors and Insurers View CSR
* International Perceptions of CSR
A new feature this year is research roundtables that encourage discussion and development of new research ideas.
Registration is $150 for the two day conference, including meals. Accommodations are available at Courtyard by Marriot one block from campus at a special group rate.
