    Good afternoon colleagues.

I need your assistance.  My colleagues and I at the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth are wanting to incorporate sustainability into our curriculum and research programs, and we would like your help identifying best practices that you are aware of.  Our majors include management (organization, HR, and health care), marketing, accounting, finance, MIS, and economic, so feel free to include exemplars from any of those domains.

If you are aware of what you consider to be best practices in sustainability teaching &/or research, at either your own university or another (i.e., self-nominations are welcome), would you please send me an email mentioning both the university / school and a description of the practice?  Please send your responses directly to me at: ggbell@d.umn.edu.

I would be happy to share what I find on this listserv in the next few weeks if that's of interest to any of you.  Thanks for your help.

    Hello Geoff,

re: your email dated October 26th

This paper may be of value re: best practices in sustainability teaching. We have found this approach to applied learning to be quite effective in engaging MBA and graduate Environmental Science students in projects with external organization and in achieving the desired learning outcomes.
