Call for Papers: ETH PhD Academy for Sustainability and Technology, "Organizations and Climate Change", February 1 - 6, 2009 (Application Deadline: Oct. 15, 2008)

    Dear colleagues

I am happy to announce the call for papers to the third ETH PhD Academy for Sustainability and Technology - "Organizations and Climate Change", from February 1 - 6, 2009, at ETH Zurich (Switzerland). We build on the successful ETH PhD Academies that we conducted in 2007 and 2008 and that each brought together 15 international PhD students and three professors for one week in the Swiss alps.
The aim of the academy is to promote excellent PhD research in the fields of Corporate Strategy and Carbon Markets, Risk Management and Carbon Constraints, Organizational Adaptation, and Clean Technologies and Innovation. The five days of the curriculum will focus on discussing the research designs and methodologies of the participants' PhD projects. Feedback will be given by peers and our faculty:

Prof. Dr. Monika Winn       (University of Victoria, Canada)
Prof. Dr. Andrew Griffiths  (University of Queensland, Australia)
Prof. Dr. Volker Hoffmann   (ETH Zurich, Switzerland)

The deadline for submission of abstracts is Oct 15, 2008. PhD candidates will be informed about acceptance by November 3, 2008. Final papers must be submitted by December 22, 2008. For a call for papers, please visit:
