    Open Rank Tenure Track Faculty

    The Strategic Management & Public Policy Department of the George Washington University School of Business invites applications to fill a tenure-track open rank position, to begin as early as Fall 2014 in the following disciplines: Business Ethics/Strategy. All candidates must have a strong commitment to scholarly research and teaching excellence.

    Basic Qualification – Applicants for Associate or Full Professor: Applicants for Associate or Full Professor must have a doctoral degree in Business Ethics or Strategy or a closely related field, an internationally recognized record of research and scholarship including publications in top academic journals, an excellent record of teaching, and continuing interest in conducting significant scholarly research and in providing academic leadership.  Tenure, rank and salary are commensurate with the qualifications of the successful candidate.

    Basic Qualifications – Applicants for Assistant Professor: Applicants for Assistant Professor must have a doctoral degree in Business Ethics or Strategy or a closely related field.  ABDs will be considered, but must complete all doctoral degree requirements by expected start date. Applicants must demonstrate research excellence/strong potential as indicated by refereed publications in top journals and/or works in progress, and teaching excellence as evidenced by teaching evaluations and letters of reference.

    For all positions, tenure, salary and rank are commensurate with the qualifications. Salary and benefits are competitive.  

    Only completed applications will be considered.  Review of applications will begin on September 23, 2013 and will continue until the position is filled.
