The Department of Business, Organizations, and Society at Franklin & Marshall College (www.fandm.edu/business.xml) invites applications for a one-year position at the Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor level, beginning in fall 2011. The position may be renewable for a total of two years upon evidence of excellent teaching and administrative approval. The teaching load is 3/2 and will primarily include courses in organizational behavior and business strategy, as well as other courses in related fields.

 Applicants should possess a graduate degree in management or organizational studies; a related discipline (e.g., economics, psychology, or sociology); or other areas with a thematic emphasis related to our mission. Teaching experience is required; Ph.D. preferred.

 Franklin & Marshall College is a small (2,200 undergraduates), highly selective, residential liberal arts college with a fully integrated business program. The College expects high quality and engaged teaching, research, and service, and it offers a collegial and supportive environment. BOS includes courses in organizational behavior, strategic management, marketing, finance, international business, accounting, quantitative methods, and law and business ethics.
