    Colleagues,

    While you may have already heard about this, just a reminder that AACSB is hosting a conference on the topic of sustainability. Information on the conference from AACSB is provided below. This may provide an excellent opportunity to give administrators or senior faculty at your school more exposure to the importance of sustainability and the need for addressing it in the B-school curriculum.


    Sustainability Conference for Business Schools
    July 30-31, 2008; Salt Lake City, UT
    AACSB International will host its first Sustainability Conference , an event that addresses the importance of ethical, responsible business practices and their role in management education. Plenary sessions will showcase highly sought after speakers from McKinsey & Company , PricewaterhouseCoopers , GE Corporation and Forbes Magazine . Sessions topics include case studies and how-to information for schools interested in building sustainability programs, as well as exploration of timely issues such as the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Investing, CEO perspectives on social initiatives, and best practices in integrating sustainability issues into curriculum.
