Ithaca College School of Business invites applications for a full-time,
tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Organizational Behavior to
begin August, 2008. Rank will be determined by qualifications and
experience.
Primary responsibilities include:
Teaching undergraduate and MBA courses in Organizational Behavior &
Management with the possibility of electives in Organizational Change,
Leadership, Teamwork, and/or Strategic Human Resource Management,
Substantial research and scholarly productivity,
Advising, program assessment, and other professional service to the
Department of Management, School of Business, and Ithaca College.
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior/Management from an AASCB-accredited
program or
Ph.D. in a closely related field with sufficient relevant refereed
publications to meet AACSB criteria for classification as academically
qualified.
ABD candidates with teaching experience and scholarly productivity may
be considered.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching,
Evidence of recent relevant scholarly publication in refereed journals,
Management-related work experience,
Teaching or research interest in sustainability
Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of central New York, Ithaca
College is a private, comprehensive, residential college of approximately
6,000 undergraduates and 400 graduate students which emphasizes student
learning and development. School of Business programs are accredited by
AACSB-International and have an undergraduate enrollment of approximately
650 students with a growing MBA program in Management or Professional
Accountancy. The School of Business will move into its new,
