    Assistant Professor Position

     

     

    The Division of Management in the Price College of Business at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:place> is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship starting in August, 2008. Both newly minted Ph.D.s and advanced assistant professors are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of scholarly research and/or an emerging research stream that includes potential for publication in leading academic journals.  Duties will include a standard teaching load of 6 hours per semester, advising Ph.D. students, maintaining an active and creative research agenda, developing synergistic relationships with students and colleagues, and a contribution of service to the <st1:placename w:st="on">Price</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype>, to the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:place>, and to our profession.  The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:place> is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.  All qualified applicants, especially women and minorities are encouraged to apply.

     

    The Management Division in the Michael F. Price College of Business currently has nine full-time faculty members.  Faculty in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship include: Lowell Busenitz, Parthiban David, Rob Mitchell, and Mark Sharfman.  Other Management Faculty includes Mark Bolino, Michael Buckley, Fran McKee-Ryan, David Ralston, and Craig Russell.  Our website can be accessed on the WWW by going to http://price.ou.edu/academics/management.aspx.     Requirements:
