  • 1.  Call for Abstracts

    Dear Colleagues,

     

    Attached for your consideration is a call for abstracts of proposed papers on "environmental sustainability" for the Seventh International Environmental Management Leadership Symposium to be held at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY on May 2nd & 3rd , 2011.  Authors will be expected to present their papers and participate in related workshops at the symposium.   Select papers from among those presented will be published in the inaugural edition of the Journal of Environmental Sustainability.

     

    Abstracts are due February 1, 2011.

     

    Information regarding submittals is included in the Call for Abstracts, but general information regarding the Symposia and the Journal can be directed to me at john.morelli@rit.edu.

    *** INFORMS 2016 College of Organization Science Call for Submissions ***


    The College of Organization Science (COS) of INFORMS is accepting submissions for paper sessions to be held during the INFORMS 2016 Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee November 13-16, 2016. Paper Sessions are 90 minutes in length and may comprise of three or four presentations linked by a common theme or may include short presentations followed by a panel discussion. Presentations do not need to be accompanied by a formal paper.


    We welcome any submissions that are relevant to the field of Organizational Science, which is broadly defined in the Organization Science statement of purpose as, "research about organizations, including their processes, structures, technologies, identities, capabilities, forms, and performance".


    Please send your submissions to Mae McDonnell, the 2016 COS Program Chair, at marymcd@wharton.upenn.edu.  If you wish to submit a single paper: please send an abstract of 500 characters (approximately 50 words).  If you wish to submit an entire paper session (highly encouraged): please send the name of the session chair, the session title, as well as paper titles and abstracts. Session chairs are responsible for finding speakers, encouraging them to submit titles and abstracts, and chairing the session during the conference. Session chairs may present in their own session, but this is not required.


    The deadline for submitting invited abstracts or paper sessions to this year's conference to the Program Chair is May 9, 2016.
