Please circulate to your network, especially your students, ... and do enter your own upcycling gems.

Dear Friends:
In anticipation of Earth Day 2013, The David O'Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise (DOCSE) has launched an 'UPCYCLING' challenge. For purposes of the contest, we use the term upcycling to mean the reuse of old material(s) in the creation of something else (e.g. use of wine corks to create a pin-up cork board).
The event is taking place on the DOCSE Facebook page. You may upload a photo, video, and/or drawing of your upcycled creation/idea. Remember, you do not have to be the original designer/creator of the object. We encourage you to share those idea(s) you may have found elsewhere (e.g. internet).
There are 3 awesome prizes up for grabs for the best ideas/creations.
1st prize: Apple mini iPad
3rd prize: Bixi year membership
How to participate
Where: All upcycled photos, videos, or drawings will be accepted on DOCSE's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/DOCSE) When: You may submit your upcycled creations/ideas until April 14th, 2013
