PUBLIC POLICY PROGRAM
VISITING ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
The Rochester Institute of Technology seeks applicants for a visiting
position in our innovative Public Policy Program. This position will start
on September 1, 2007.
The Public Policy Program offers a B.S. in Public Policy and a M.S. in
Science, Technology, and Public Policy. The program is interdisciplinary,
with students integrating courses in science and technology with courses in
public policy, economics, and business. A major emphasis of the program is
on quantitative and qualitative policy analysis. The program includes policy
tracks in environmental policy, energy policy, information and
communications policy, biotechnology policy, and homeland security policy,

This opening is for a one-year visiting position. The area of specialization
is open; however, candidates should be able to integrate public policy with
a science and technology related area. The successful candidate will have an
opportunity to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Candidates should have or be close to completing a Ph.D. in an appropriate
discipline.
