Position:
The Department of Management and Organization at the University of South Florida is seeking a tenure earning, advanced Assistant or Associate Professor to teach graduate and undergraduate Organizational Theory, Organizational Behavior and related courses, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. The position also involves working with PhD students, developing and maintaining a high quality research program, being an active colleague in the intellectual life of the department, college and university, and providing service to the profession and university.

University and Community:
The University of South Florida serves approximately 42,500 students and is one of the state's three designated graduate research universities. USF's College of Business serves over 7,500 students. The Tampa Bay metro area is demographically diverse and includes over 2.5 million residents. It has a wide variety of cultural amenities, from sports and outdoor recreation to the popular and fine arts. The Tampa Bay area has a sunny, subtropical climate. USF is located in north Tampa, about a 20 minute drive from the downtown area and Tampa Bay, and about a 45 minute drive from the Gulf of Mexico beaches which are consistently rated in the top 10 by several vacation rating groups.
Requirements:
A PhD in Organizational Studies, Business Management or closely related field; ability to conduct and publish high quality research; experience teaching Organizational Theory, Organizational Behavior, and related topics, with emphasis on sustainability. Preference will be given to candidates who also have the ability to conduct research and teach elective courses in sustainable enterprise, organizational greening or environmental management and who have an understanding of the history and current state of the field of organizational theory.
