Hello Joe
What sort of paper are you after (academic or practitioner)?
I have audited integrated business management systems for 20 years and
trained about 200 internal quality auditors, but it is not something
that I recall writing about specifically. I presented a paper at an
internal auditing conference, but it was simply a report of the internal
audit work I did for an employer. What is the angle about auditing you
are looking for?
I have some practitioner papers from about 12 years ago that I could
post to you, but none electronic apart from this one where I used TQM to
eliminate environmental polution (it was not auditing, but was part of
the corrective action to audit reports):

The auditing simply finds the problems, whereas the corrective action
resolves the problems.

Hello All,
I am trying to put some thoughts together on the issue of environmental
auditing and organizational/environmental performance. I have done the
standard literature searches using the various databases.
Unfortunately, I have had to dig through some articles that did not
appear in these searches and found that Audit/Auditors/Auditing were
missed. I do not want an important work to fall through the cracks.
Thus, I am sending out this message.
If you know of, or have published, articles that explicitly consider or
relate environmental auditing practices to environmental performance or
organizational performance, then I would greatly appreciate the
reference (and if you have the paper, it is very welcome too).
Thanks, in advance.
