The 3rd World Urban Forum of the UN will convene in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Vancouver</st1:city> <st1:state w:st="on">BC</st1:state></st1:place> in June 06. Over 6000 people from over 100 countries attended the last Forum and more are expected in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Vancouver</st1:place></st1:city>. Themes you may find interesting include Environmental Sustainability, and Finance and Governance.

Starting this December, there is an online discussion event around the Forum's various themes. Subject matter experts are being asked to join and help out.

I will be leading a discussion on Green Banking, focused on the integration of banking practices and operations with pollution prevention and cleaner production. Also on the commercial mortgage financing of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Green</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Building</st1:placetype></st1:place> (a current focus of mine).
