Greetings to all - my apologies for the cross-postings. Let me know if you have questions.

    Invitation to:
    Organizations and the Natural Environment
Doctoral Student and New Faculty Consortium

    August 12: 4:30-6:00
    2006 Academy of Management Meetings

Organizations and the Natural Environment invites new faculty and doctoral students to its Doctoral Student and New Faculty consortium. This consortium is designed to introduce and welcome doctoral students and new faculty to the field of
Organizations and the Natural Environment. Through a mix of presentations and conversations we will discuss research, teaching, and career interests. The consortium is in two parts, offering individual attention and participation, and wider
exposure and conversation with ONE's people and research. In part one, with Nicole Darnall, Andrew Griffiths, Cathy Rusinko, and Gordon Rands there will be small-group interaction around topics specifically considering: ONE research and careers,
established and emerging research streams, integrating ONE topics and perspectives into management teaching, and transitioning from being a doctoral student at a research university to being a faculty member at a more teaching oriented college. In
    the consortium

To register for the consortium you need to either be a current doctoral student or have completed your PhD within the last five years. Please send your registration request to Stephanie Welcomer, at Stephanie.welcomer@umit.maine.edu. Include with
your request, your contact information, vita, and a brief description (one page) of your research and teaching interests.

    Thank you,

    Stephanie Welcomer
