Welcome from the ONE Chair

Welcome to the interactive AOM Connect website of the Organizations and the Natural Environment (ONE) Division of the Academy of Management.

The ONE Division is a group of scholars studying the interactions between organizations and the environmental grand challenges of our times, including climate change, biodiversity loss, water, and waste management. By conducting rigorous research on the business-natural environmental interface, we want to guide businesses and other organizations on re-directing their activities towards sustainability. We seek to publish cutting-edge research, disseminate our findings to have an impact, and influence environmental policy and management. As environmental grand challenges are becoming more pressing every day, our action is much needed and urgent.

We always welcome scholars passionate about research on environmental sustainability to become ONE volunteers in different ways, including becoming part of one of our teams: Impact Team, Communications Team, Teaching Team, Internationalization Team, Ph.D. Team, Program Team, Membership Team, and Awards Team. We hold open elections every year to select new members for our Teams and for our ONE Executive Team.

Feel free to reach out to any of the Executive Team members with your ideas and suggestions to make our ONE community even more relevant and impactful.

Enjoy our collection of ONE resources on this website, and do not hesitate to become an ONEr!
