I too am very skeptical about carbon offsets. I believe it perpetuates our "we can buy our way out of the problem" mentality. I know there are a variety of offset measures, some slightly better than others. But from what I've seen, they will all give us little too late... Edith ...

Even at $800, renting the film might be worth it. Here in small town Nova Scotia we rented it for one showing (last week). We had to add three extra shows. The first three shows were all sold-out, the last showing was almost full. There is a lot of buzz around this film that is worth leveraging. ...
