The Sustainability Ph.D. Community is a recently founded online community open to all PhD students whose interest lies at the intersection between organizations and the natural environment.
We think that now, more than ever, it is important to not feel isolated and to keep and develop relationships with peers.
With the support of the ONE Division of the Academy of Management and GRONEN, we created a community among PhD students that, four months after the launch, already counts over 150 members from all over the world - and it is growing fast!
The aims are to provide feedback on each other's work, get to know each other, find new collaborations, share opportunities and initiatives relevant to our field, find new conference buddies, and build long-lasting relationships.
We meet once a month and discuss the work of one or more community members. It is a space self-organised by students. Faculty will be involved for special sessions such as the “Navigating the Job Market” (30th October, 2020), the “Meet the Associations” (4th December, 2020) events, and the “Meet the Editors” (5th February, 2021) .
