Welcome from the Chair

Welcome to the interactive AOM Connect website of the Organizations and the Natural Environment (ONE) Division of the Academy of Management.

The ONE Division is a group of scholars that study, teach and engage with business and policymakers on a wide variety of topics related to environmental sustainability. What brings us together is a strong belief that the management discipline can help improve the relationship between organizations and the natural environment. Our focus is on developing new scholars, cutting edge research, and disseminating those findings.

However, we don’t intend to stop there. Through engagement, we also help businesses find solutions to address the most pressing sustainability issues of our time such as climate change, biodiversity, water scarcity, and various types of environmental pollution. Further, we seek to reduce the carbon footprint and environmental impact of the annual AOM meeting while increasing its inclusiveness and value.

On this website you can find a wealth of resources in the form of discussions, teaching syllabi, workshop and conference announcements, calls for papers, and job announcements. We encourage you to get engaged and contribute to the conversation! I look forward to seeing ONE play an essential role in the continued evolution of management research to address the most pressing environmental challenges we face.
