In this PDW, we dive into the specifics of how to create impact from academic work using the 5W (+1H) framework to explore impact channels with different stakeholders. Select from a focus on social policy, storytelling, teaching, media communications, or narratives and transformation, and workshop the specifics of creating impact from your research today.
Opening panel discussions and skills-lab sessions led by scholarly leaders Jeannette Colyvas, Tim Pollock, Michael Smets, Jessica Vredenburg and Sandra Waddock.

To prepare the skills lab, indicate your participation interest via email to tanja.ohlson.dphil@said.oxford.edu by July 28th. In your email, briefly detail your answers to the following three questions in not more than 1 page:
- Who are you as a scholar (i.e., university and career stage, and your research interest)?
- Which of the panellists would you like to work with, and why are you interested in the impact channel they will cover (Tim Pollock: storytelling in writing; Michael Smets: teaching; Jeannette Colyvas: social policy; Jessica Vredenburg: media and communication; Sandra Waddock: narratives and transformation)?
- What are your expectations for this skills lab?
