    Apologies for Multiple Postings

Sage announces the search for a new editor or team of co-editors for our journal, Organization & Environment. This peer-reviewed, quarterly publication continuously renews and reinvigorates leadership scholarship, practice, and policy by promoting forward thinking scholarship. We are currently accepting editor or co-editor applications for a term beginning with the 2025 volume year.

Organization & Environment has provided researchers with the most up-to-date, comprehensive and important research in this field. It aims to publish rigorous and impactful research at the intersection of management, organizations, and environmental sustainability. The editor(s) will be expected to work with Sage to ensure high quality peer review and timely and accurate delivery of manuscripts for publication.

The editor(s) will be responsible for soliciting, reviewing, and making final decisions on submissions to the journal, and will manage all aspects of the publication and review process using the ScholarOne online submission and review platform. It is critical also to maintain timely and effective communication, advance journal performance, and work towards upholding the Organization & Environment's high-quality standard.

Applicants should have a distinguished scholarly record in one or more of the following fields: organizational behavior and the environment, business strategy and the environment, environmental governance and regulation in business, greening business functions, and/or sustainable business development. Applicants should also have experience in academic leadership roles, possess strong organizational and management skills, the ability to work well with others, and a commitment to Sage's mission: believing passionately that engaged scholarship lies at the heart of any healthy society and that education is intrinsically valuable. This means playing a creative role in society by disseminating teaching and research on a global scale, the cornerstones of which are good, long-term relationships, a focus o our markets, and an ability to combine quality and innovation. Please feel free to send any questions you may have about the position or journal content to Michael Russo, Editor-in-Chief (mrusso@uoregon.edu).

Sage provides Organization & Environment with editorial support, but please include in your application if there is any expected level of institutional support, which might come in the form of additional faculty release time, travel funds, summer salary, office space, utilities, the use of computers and other office equipment, support for student workers, and/or other basic expenses.

Please send in your Editor or Co-Editor application by July 12, 2024 to Isabella Austin, Publishing Editor of Organization & Environment, at Isabella.Austin@sagepub.com. Please put "O&E Editor Application" in the subject line of your email. The maximum number of co-editors is three, and applications for all co-editors should be sent in a single package. Applicants should send 1) a letter of application which includes their vision and goals for the future of the journal; 2) a description of their qualifications for the editorship; 3) their CV; and 4) documentation indicating prospective institutional support.
