Dear colleauges,

We offer a temporary position in in Sustainable Business | Circular Economy | Innovation/Transformation as Senior Scientist/PostDoc (needs to hold a PhD/Doctorate degree OR be in the final stage of it) at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU), Austria (between Vienna and Salzburg). Given replacement for maternity leave, this post is currently fixed to 1y (starting now until end of October 2023)  - with some potential to extend (at least) part-time. We offer high flexibility through remote working schemes.

Original deadline is 26th of October (we will probably extend it for a week or so, but please apply asap). 

At the Institute for Integrated Quality Design (IQD) - https://www.jku.at/en/institute-for-integrated-quality-design/about-the-iqd/about/ - we conduct interdisciplinary research and mainly take a social science perspective on technological issues, but sometimes also tackle more technical issues such as product design.

Possible job Duties:
• Contribute to IQD's interdisciplinary research agenda
• Publish in high-quality journals
• Support teaching in Bachelor/Master/Doctorate or Executive programmes
• Develop research funding proposals
• Coach doctoral students (e.g. theory, method, empiricism)
• Exchange with stakeholders from practice (e.g. industry, government)

Due to complexity in the hiring process, we prefer candidates already based in Europe or with European citizenship (for non-European candidates there may be some delay in the process).
