Description: This PDW will explore research frontiers related to organizing within the planetary boundaries. The PDW will center around four key themes: (1) how organizations integrate the planetary boundary framework into strategy and action; (2) how organizations can operate and manage within individual planetary boundaries; (3) how to navigate interconnections among planetary boundaries and with social foundations; and (4) how to develop alternative organizational theories and practices from planetary boundary biophysical foundations. Esteemed invited speakers will provide opening remarks related to these four themes. Then participants will have the opportunity to discuss their research in small groups with the organizers and speakers in roundtables related to these themes. This workshop will be relevant to many ONE scholars researching planetary boundaries-related environmental issues.
