Monash University is the largest university in Australia and regularly ranks in the top 100 universities worldwide. Monash has six globally networked campuses and international alliances in Europe and Asia. The appointment will be based at the Clayton campus in Melbourne. Melbourne was named the "Most Liveable City in the World" for seven consecutive years by The Economist.
Our current staff and students are engaged in teaching, research, analysis and actions that promote sustainable business practices and the sustainable use and management of natural resources, landscapes and built environments, and sound population and migration policies. Our teaching activities are concentrated in the areas of Environmental Geography, Population Geography, and Development Geography. Our current research activities focus on environmental governance and sustainability transitions; sustainable business models, and corporate sustainability; urban diversity and international migration governance; and political ecology of development.
