If you work at the intersection of Business, Enterprise and Sustainable Development, and looking for a community of inquiry in Latin America, you do not want to miss this event.
Sistema B (B Labs Latin America) and IDRC (International Development Research Centre Canada) have been working together to address critical issues at the intersection of business, enterprise and sustainable development, focusing on two key areas: climate change and inclusion. This, through two flagships projects:
- "Climate Change Risks and Opportunities for B Corps in Latin America"
- "Understanding the systemic impacts of b corps on social and economic opportunities for women and youth in Latin America"
Building on last year success and in line with these two initiatives, we welcome applications for our second thematic, invite-only doctoral & early career consortium. The event is crafted for PhD and post-doctoral students and well as scholars in the first 1-2 years after completing theses focused on socially- and sustainability-oriented theories and methodologies, but may also include established scholars that are new to this topic. The workshop will be focused broadly on Business, Enterprise and Sustainable Development, emphasising the two key streams.
Doctoral students and early career researchers will have the opportunity to work together with leading scholars in the field:
- Andres Barrios, Associate Professor of Marketing, Universidad del Los Andes, Colombia
- Oana Branzei, Associate Professor of Strategy, Ivey Business School, Canada
- Silvia Dorado, Associate Professor of Management, University of Rhode Island, USA
