    full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in OB

    The Management Department in the Saunders College of Business (SCB) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position starting in August 2020. Candidates who are close to completing their doctoral degree in organizational behavior or related areas are encouraged to apply. Teaching load is 2/2 for pre-tenure faculty and includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses such as organizational behavior, creativity, innovation, and/or decision-making. Strong research and teaching potential are expected.
     

    Department/College Description

    The Management Department comprises the disciplines of management, entrepreneurship, international business, and operations & supply chain management. The Department has a collegial and supportive culture, and faculty members often collaborate on research projects in areas such as creativity, innovation, technology management, corporate social responsibility, ethics, entrepreneurship, and international management. The Department has a strong commitment to high-quality research and teaching. Faculty members have published in leading journals, such as the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, Psychology Bulletin, Entrepreneurship, Theory, & Practice, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Venturing and Journal of Product Innovation Management.

    Required Minimum Qualifications

    • Ph.D. or ABD in organizational behavior or related area from an AACSB or equivalently accredited university.
    • Potential to publish high-quality scholarship.
    • Potential to teach undergraduate- and graduate-level courses such as organizational behavior, creativity, innovation, and/or decision-making.
    • Ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the College's continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism, and individual differences.

Assistant professors with prior experience will be considered. Teaching load is 2/2 for pre-tenure faculty and includes teaching undergraduate and graduate strategy, innovation, and technology management courses. Strong research and teaching potential are expected.
