    The Management Department of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking applicants for an advanced Associate or Full Professor in the area of Organizational Behavior, Organization Theory, and/or Human Resource Management to start in September 2020. Candidates with exceptional records may be considered for the Douglas and Diana Berthiaume Endowed Chair in Management, which is a chair reserved for scholars of international renown who maintain an active program of prominent research and a demonstrated track record of institution building.

    Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Management or a related discipline and be an advanced Associate or Full Professor with tenure at their current institution. Applicants should possess the leadership abilities required to help shape the intellectual agenda within the Department of Management, and contribute meaningfully to school-level strategic needs. Within the Management Department, this individual will play a central role in the Organization Studies Ph.D. program by shaping the future direction for the program, as well as teaching and advising doctoral students. This individual is also expected to have the requisite skills to effectively deliver MBA and executive education. The selected candidate would further be expected to contribute to the growth of the department and the professional development of early-career faculty.

    In addition to the Ph.D. program in Organization Studies, the Management Department also offers a doctoral program in Strategic Management. The members of the Management faculty are committed to conducting research that furthers state-of-the-art knowledge in their respective areas of expertise. This research has appeared in top-ranked journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Management Studies.
