Hello everyone,
I hope you've settled after the AOM meeting (or your alternative summer plans), and not too busy in preparing for the fall semester.
I wanted to give you all a gentle prompt that the AOM annual meeting survey is happening right now, and I encourage ONErs who attended the meeting to complete it. It takes about 5 minutes.
At the end of the survey, there is an opportunity to share your opinion or requests. I'm hoping that we, as a group, can place some stakeholder pressure on the central administration by requesting for lowering our carbon footprint for the conference. Some ideas that we can suggest to AOM in the survey include an option to offset carbon from flights, defaulting all events to vegetarian foods, using reasonable room temperatures for sessions, and offering online streaming for sessions.
