    Colleagues,

Please consider nominating yourself or someone else for the 2019 Research Impact on Practice Award for research articles related to social or environmental sustainability. Submissions are due April 30.

The award recognizes a piece of contemporary, peer-reviewed research that has important implications for practice.

This award is co-sponsored by the ONE Division and the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS). NBS is based at the Ivey Business School and aims to advance business sustainability by connecting research with practice. Over 7000 people subscribe to our newsletter.

    Here are the 2018 winners
    • Tom Lawrence won the award for his study of how a controversial idea - such as drug injection centres - that works in one location can get traction elsewhere. He found that the path to acceptance can be a rough one, requiring a lot of energy, effort, and time - and that the idea changes along the way. Find out more.
    • Jennifer Howard-Grenville and colleagues received the award's Honourable Mention, for their work on sustainability change within a professionFind out more.

I hope that you will apply for this award, which over six years has recognized some of the most important work that our profession is doing. For more information and to apply, go to the NBS website.

    Sincerely,

    Tima Bansal
