Colleagues,
Every two years, the directors of sustainability centres assemble to collectively amplify our impact at the NBS Sustainability Centres Workshop. This year's workshop was to be in Vienna (24 – 26 June), but we have decided to delay the meeting to 2021 because of the coronavirus.
Please stay tuned to messages in the next few months that will announce the 2021 date. The year's delay will give us more time to make the 2021 event even more exciting than 2020 agenda. The workshop will still be hosted by Vienna University of Economics and Business and FHWien University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication.
Our logic for delaying was simple. Unless a vaccine is discovered in the next few months, many people will choose to (or be forced to) self-quarantine. Not only will this mean that people who would like to attend the workshop will be unable to do so, we may have created a situation that puts people at risk. We want to be part of the global community that is demonstrating responsible action.
