    Dear Colleagues:

If you are in the NJ/NY area on Sept. 23rd, we have limited seats still available to be a part of a workshop to advance a University Global Compact. Please consider participating, with university leaders from around the world. Details below.

Co-organized by the Brookings Institute, George Mason University, the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), and Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation, our event on September 23rd (taking place at Rutgers Newark) will focus on identifying game-changing priority actions for the Sustainable Development Goals, taking advantage of so many terrific people being in the New York area from around the world for UN General Assembly events later the same week.

Primarily focused on participants from academia, we aim to curate small SDG-specific expert groups for informal, action-oriented discussions, working in parallel and in concert across the Goals. Under Chatham House rule, with institutional agendas left at the door, the groups will focus on identifying significant collective steps that could be taken, by the end of 2020, to bend the curve toward 2030 success.

    Please RSVP here.
