    GVV AROUND THE WORLD

    ·     GVV was the subject of a Keynote Presentation by Mary C. Gentile at MLC - The Next Chapter, a professional program for Financial Advisors in Cairns, Australia, November 2019.

    ·     Gentile conducted a GVV Webinar for students in the International Business Ethics course at Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University in Bucharest, Romania, November 2019.

    ·     Several schools in the MENA region are utilizing the Giving Voice to Values (GVV) pedagogy for values-driven leadership through case studies developed in strong partnership with organizations in the region. These case studies present real-life examples of protagonists who knew the right thing to do and exemplified ways of doing it. The German University in Cairo (GUC), Egypt, for example, has incorporated GVV in its business ethics course taught at the MBA level. Other universities piloting the GVV approach include Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, and Qatar University. These efforts are currently being documented in a forthcoming book to be published by Routledge in the GVV Book Series.

    ·     GVV was featured in a session at the International Leadership Association annual convening in Ottawa, Canada, November 2019.

    ·     GVV has become part of the pedagogy and curriculum for FASPE, the Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics. To learn more, visit: https://connect.darden.virginia.edu/e/492531/2020-02-05/43vylb/419986567?h=wEuNUZGiKWqYkbS9QzteiAXilVeNNVmD7JbPtrUEuhU.

    ·     GVV was discussed in Kalnitskaya, P. (2018). "Challenging the oppressive social context by redesigning learning space. The case of a business ethics class in Russia" Cuadernos de Administracin, 31 (57).

    ·     Arabic translations of selected GVV materials from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, will be available soon.

    ·     New GVV cases from China are in the final stage of development. Watch for more information.
