    At the Institute of Sustainability Management (Henkel-Endowed Chair of Sustainability Management) at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany a post as

    Post-Doctoral Researcher (100%, EG 13 TV-L; part-time possible)

    is to be occupied in January 2020 or later. The employment is initially limited for a period of 2 years with an option for prolongation.

    We offer:
    We engage in research and teaching on meaningful and interesting topics in sustainability management with a very nice team. We support you in your own research endeavors (with the option of pursuing a "habilitation") based on our long-standing expertise and outstanding research achievements. At the same time, we offer extensive flexibility in your job. An excellent research infrastructure will be at your disposal offering manifold opportunities (e.g. conference travels).

    Your tasks:
    You will support our teaching activities and you will publish research in the areas mentioned below with members from our team as well as independently in international top-tier journals. Furthermore, you will support the department in aquiring third-party fundings and with general project management.

    Your qualifications:
    You have a university degree in a management or accounting related field and you should either have finished or be near finishing your PhD studies on aspects of sustainability management/CSR (our research focus is on sustainability reporting/accounting, sustainability-related behavior, social businesses/entrepreneurship and Base of the Pyramid). You have some first publications in the area of sustainability management/CSR in internationally-renowned, peer-reviewed journals. You have very good knowledge in empirical research methods (quantitative prefered but qualitative also possible) and you are a communicative person who is well-versed with MS-Office. A very good commant of English and basic German language skills (written and spoken) is necessary as well as self-dependant and accurate working habits, high engagement and motivation.

    The pay scale grouping will be, depending on the personal qualification of the applicant, up to pay grade 13 TV-L (up to ~50.000 € p.a., depending on previous university working experience).

    In principle, the employment can also take place part-time, if no compelling official reasons are opposed in an individual case.
    Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf aims at increasing the percentage of employed women.
