Call for papers to the SIG 12 Standing Track on Management and Organization Theory at the EURAM conference 2020 in Dublin

Venue: Trinity Business School, Dublin, Ireland.

    Date:10-12 June 2020

Convenors: Steffen Roth, La Rochelle Business School, France, and Miguel Pérez Valls, University of Almería, Spain

Track description:As researchers in management and organization, we want to develop or apply adequate, impactful, and future proof theories. Yet, there is more concern than ever that "management theory is a becoming a compendium of dead ideas" (The Economist, 17.12.2016) and that there is a lack of up- to-date management and organization theories. The "Management and Organization Theory" track is a response to or preventive measure against this theoretical vacuum. Open to all paradigms, it invites decidedly theoretical and conceptual contributions from scholars with backgrounds in management and organization studies, sociology, economics, anthropology, history, information science, communication studies, and further appropriate fields sciences.
