    Nanyang Assistant Professorship (NAP) in Strategy

     

    The Nanyang Business School (NBS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) invites applications for our prestigious Nanyang Assistant Professorship (NAP) in Strategy with the Division of Strategy, Management and Organization (SMO).

     

    The Nanyang Assistant Professorship (NAP) is for early career scholars with an outstanding research track record in Strategy. Successful candidates will receive

     

    • research grant of up to SGD 1 million (USD 745,000)
    • attractive remuneration and benefits
    • accommodation

     

    Eligibility Criteria:

     

    1. Applicant must have shown potential to lead an independent research group and demonstrate track record of early achievements.
    2. Applicant must be an early career researcher (postdoctoral fellow or equivalent) with a PhD degree in Strategy.
    3. Applicant must not be an existing Faculty at NTU for more than 1 year at the point of submission (i.e. at the closing date of this 2019 NAP call).
    4. Applicant must be committed to take up an independent research appointment in NTU, if selected.

     

     

    ABOUT US

    We are a community of more than 40 international scholars including Professors Jason D. Shaw, Ng Kok Yee; Associate Professors Chan Kim Yin, Eugene Kang, Jing Zhu, Josh Keller, Krishna Savani, Lai Si Tsui-Auch, Lim Beng Chong, Marilyn Ang Uy, Olexander (Sasha) Chernyshenko, Trevor Yu, Wong Sze Sze, and Zou Xi; and Assistant Professors Chong Sinhui, Fong Keng-Highberger, Georgios Christopoulos, Judith Walls, Kang Jingoo, Lee Euc Man, and Thomas Rockstuhl.  Our group specializes in very diverse, inter-disciplinary research in OB, HR, Strategy, Organizational Theory, Cultural Sciences, Neuroscience, and Decision Making.  

     

    Last year, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings ranked Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU Singapore) as the best in Asia and 11th in the world.  QS also ranked NTU Singapore as the world's best young university (under 50 years old) for the 4th consecutive year.  The Financial Times' Global MBA Ranking ranked our Nanyang MBA program 5th in the Asia Pacific, and 22nd in the world.
