She serves on the advisory board for the Sustainability Curriculum Consortium (SCC) and on the Steering Committee for the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
Title: Transforming Curriculum and Leveraging Change
In this talk story session, Krista will share some experiences in campus sustainability over the past 17 years from classroom to campus to a ten campus university system level. She will talk candidly about assets, barriers, and lessons learned. Her talk will include both practical tools that the UH system has used to create an embedded minor in sustainability, as well as some of the theoretical constructs of change management that can apply to transforming higher education for sustainability. She will share a few stories from her research with students and learning from indigenous perspectives in Hawaii. When? Monday May 21 at 4 pm EST
