    Dear colleagues.

We have two job openings at the moment in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED), at the University of Waterloo (Canada).

Both are full-time positions, with deadlines for applications in mid-February 2018. One is for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, looking for someone with expertise combining business and the natural environment. One is for a lecturer (i.e., full-time teaching faculty position) and looking for someone with teaching expertise relevant to experiential learning in sustainability.

    See: https://uwaterloo.ca/environment/about-environment/employment-opportunities

SEED has a current enrolment of approximately 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students, and is experiencing further growth. The School is adding faculty members, developing new programs and growing research capacities. We have a new PhD program in Sustainability Management starting in September 2018. SEED is located in a 57,000 sq. ft. LEED© Platinum building with classrooms, student space and offices. For details about the school and its programs please visit: http://seed.uwaterloo.ca

The University of Waterloo has 36,000+ undergraduate and graduate students, and ranks #152 in the world (2018 QS World University Rankings). The University of Waterloo has business programs in all our Faculties. For example, our School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) hosts the business programs in our Faculty of Environment. Across the University, about 24% of our undergraduate students are enrolled in a business program (including majors, and minors/options). Based on the QS 2018 world ranking, University of Waterloo ranks in the top 150 in Accounting and Finance and top 300 in Management and Business. In terms of Canadian rankings, according to the Maclean's analysis of business research, in 2016 Waterloo was ranked 4th in publications and 7th in citations, relative to other Canadian universities.

Overall, it is a great place to work.

    Best,

    Amelia Clarke
