    Dear colleagues,

    The Department of Management in Western Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Strategic Management starting August 15, 2025.

    The position requires an earned Ph.D. degree (or ABD with anticipated completion by August 2025) in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution. Candidates must also demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness in related fields, a strong research record or high potential for research productivity, and excellent communication skills.  

    The successful candidate will be expected to teach classes at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels in areas of principles of management, strategy, and other courses as determined. The candidate should also be able to work collegially with faculty and have the willingness and ability to provide service to the institution, profession and community.

    The Management Department currently has 14 full-time faculty members. The department supports five undergraduate concentrations-business administration, human resource management, entrepreneurship, global business, and supply chain management-and an MBA program.     The Gordon Ford College of Business is AACSB accredited in both business and accounting and currently offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in various business majors. The Management Department houses the largest number of majors within the College and is one of the largest programs on campus.
