About the job
The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SUSTAINABILITY AND BUSINESS STRATEGY chair at IESE Business School invites applications for a three-year Post-Doctoral position. The primary criterion for acceptance is research excellence in the field of management studies, and an interest in studying topics related to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Ideally, the candidate will have some publications in top academic journals and a strong pipeline. The position will start in September 2022; candidates should have finished their Ph.D. degree by the start date. This position will be responsible for conducting original research with the Chairholder Prof. Pascual Berrone, who will supervise the candidate's work. This position is also expected to become actively involved in the IESE Business School intellectual communities by regularly participating in research seminars, brown-bag presentations, etc. Teaching is not required.

· Sustainable innovation as a source of competitive advantage
· ESG adoption and financial materiality
· Regulation, Green Public Procurement and Public-Private Partnership for sustainability
· Greenwashing and its impact
· Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the role of governments in solving social challenges
· Sustainable cities and the role of organizations in solving global sustainability challenges in urban areas (e.g., energy management, sustainable mobility, water conservation)
· Business models for the circular economy
· Organizational structures and governance mechanisms linked to sustainable strategies
Requisitos:
Requirements
· Ph.D. degree in management, organization studies, social sciences, or related field
· Demonstrated research ability excellence in the field of sustainability management; ideally, the selected candidate will have some publications in top academic journals and a strong pipeline
· Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English (knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage)
· Profound knowledge of rigorous research methods. Robust conceptual and analytical (quantitative methods) skills are a must. Experience/interest in qualitative methods is considered an advantage.
· Clear and proven interest in sustainable management and/or policy
· Ability to manage time, resources, data, and details of multiple tasks
· A collegial attitude and a strong willingness to collaborate
· Experience with external funding and grant application is a plus
