    We are excited to extend an invitation to you to participate in "The Biodiversity Moonshot: innovating for an embedded future between business and natureProfessional Development Workshop (PDW), held in conjunction with the 84th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management  [AOM 2024], in Chicago, IL, USA  August 9 2024 at 2pm at the Merriot (Belmont 4th floor). https://cdmcd.co/RxZnnm

    The PDW will start with two distinguished keynote speeches:

    • Sandra Waddock, Boston College Carroll School of Management. "Polycrisis, Biodiversity, and Systemic Change: Innovation through a System 
      Lens".
    • - Rajat Panwar, Oregon State University. "Humanity and civilization integrally relies on biodiversity and ecosystem services".

    Then, the PDW will feature several insightful roundtable discussions aimed at addressing various aspects of business and biodiversity issues:

    1. **First roundtable: Challenges & solutions to doing biodiversity research.
    Facilitator(s): Nicole DarnallArizona State University's School of Sustainability and Michael V. RussoUniversity of Oregon.

    2. **Second roundtable: Considering Levels and Systems in Business Biodiversity Issues.
    Facilitator(s): Mark Starik, University of Wisconsin Extended Campus and Gordon Rands, Western Illinois University.

    3. **Third roundtable: Business and biodiversity. Measurement challenges and future directions.
    Facilitator(s): Kerrigan Unter, University of St. Gallen.

    4. **Fourth roundtable: Public policies for innovation and innovation ecosystem to foster biodiversity.
    Facilitator(s): Andrea FilippettiISSIRFA-CNR and Fabrizio TuziISSIRFA-CNR.

    5. **Fifth roundtable: The Economics of Biodiversity.
    Facilitator(s): Jean Garner Stead, East Tennessee State University.

    6. **Sixth roundtable: Innovation ecosystems transitions to support bio-based industry and biodiversity.
    Facilitator(s): Philip Shapira, University of Manchester & Georgia Institute of Technology.
