Message from Stuart Allen (Teaching Team, ONE Division)

The ONE Teaching Team has added a teaching tab to the ONE Division's website (https://one.aom.org/teaching ) and updated the resources folder with a new structure and new resources.

We would like to continue to grow this collection of teaching resources and ask that you submit activities, assignments, resources and readings, links to videos and websites, syllabi, and similar materials in the new resources folder. We will then move them to the applicable folder.

Alternatively you can submit the resource or contact us at: https://forms.gle/JFwhXo3KRVGZQRqk9

    Dear ONErs,

From 2019 to 2022, I served on the ONE Communications Team, finishing my service at the recent AOM Annual Meeting. As it is an elected position, I am writing this note to thank you all for the opportunity to serve on the Team. Through service, I had the pleasure of meeting many Division members at all stages of the career path. I have made wonderful and collegial friendships in the field. I especially want to thank those whose Communications Team service overlapped with my own: Brent McKnight, Dante Ignacio Leyva-de-La Hiz, Panikos Georgallis, Youthika Chauhan, Lucrezia Nava, and Diana Trujillo. I look forward to working with them and everyone in the Division for many years to come.

    Thank you again,

    Nicholas Poggioli

University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce is hosting the Blue Ridge Mountain ESG Seminar for undergraduate students Friday, October 14th, 2022. If you have students interested in the topic please share this link: https://esg.mcintire.virginia.edu

While this is the first ESG seminar being hosted by UVA's McIntire School of Commerce we are interested in partnering with other schools to make this an event that rotates annually through schools committed to a one-day seminar for 100-120 students. PWC, Deloitte, Carbon Drawdown Collective, and Brown-Forman are some of the organizations who will have speakers focusing on current trends in ESG. Please contact Associate Professor Kerrie Carfagno (kac3gk@virginia.edu) if you are interested in becoming involved.

    Dear Scholars of Sustainability,

I am an editor at SAGE working on our peer-reviewed case collection, SAGE Business Cases. We continue to grow the collection and, in particular, are looking to build on our Sustainability content (https://sk.sagepub.com/cases/series/sustainability).

Have you written any cases that you currently use in your classroom? Do you have an idea or a rough draft that could be adapted to a teaching case? We can work with you to develop your idea-through double-blind peer review and working with an experienced developmental editor.

Manuscripts are accepted on an ongoing basis through our submission site: https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/sbc. We look for cases between 1,000 and 5,000 words, and ask that you include discussion questions and teaching notes. Templates attached here. Authors can expect initial feedback from a peer reviewer and SAGE editor within 8 weeks of submission.

When cases are published, they form part of a collection that is used by students at over 200 universities across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Our cases all go through a double-blind peer review to ensure top quality, and those that are published will be indexed on Google Scholar to ensure maximum discoverability.

If you have questions or would like to see a sample case, feel free to get in touch and I can send more details.

    With best wishes,

    Rebecca Frankel
