Dear all,
Apologies for cross-posting.
We would like to draw your attention to the Call for Papers for our EGOS sub-theme 68: Organizing the Business and Government Interface in a Shifting Geopolitical and Regulatory Landscape
How is sustainability organized between businesses and governments in a world that is burning?
Businesses and governments today are facing ever increasing pressures to maintain a livable planet and create just and sustainable societies. The world is in turmoil. Geopolitical conflicts, ecological crises and anti-progressive movements are spreading locally, nationally, and globally. What does this mean for the business-government interface? Furthermore, policies and regulations for sustainability are increasing and some are becoming politicized. How are organizations responding to navigate these changes and the need to create a better future for all?
If you are interested in topics such as: 1) organizing perspectives on the new global, national and local challenges; 2) tensions around regulatory pressures and intergovernmental conflicts; 3) the increasing demand to address climate change; and 4) the role of new drivers like technology around sustainability solutions, then please consider submitting your 3000 word short paper to our sub-theme!
Convenors: Johanna Järvelä (IESEG School of Management), Jette Steen Knudsen (Tuffs University), Arno Kourula (University of Amsterdam Business School)

Kind regards
Johanna, Jette & Arno
