    The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) seeks applicants for a lecturer or <w:sdt id="1436862472" sdttag="goog_rdk_0"></w:sdt>Senior lecturer in the Department of Public Policy b<w:sdt id="-1941828126" sdttag="goog_rdk_1"></w:sdt>eginning in spring of 2022-2023 or fall of 2023-2024 academic year. The department is seeking a teacher who can contribute to high-quality graduate education. The selected candidate would be expected to teach 8 courses per year, with reductions due to any agreed-upon administrative responsibilities.

    Department/College Description

    THE COLLEGE/ DEPARTMENT:  
    The College of Liberal Arts encourages the creation, development, dissemination, and application of human knowledge in the arts, humanities, and social sciences by promoting innovative teaching, scholarship, and research, thus providing a comprehensive education for all RIT students.

    Required Minimum Qualifications

    The successful candidate will:

    • <w:sdt id="-1510827409" sdttag="goog_rdk_4"></w:sdt><w:sdt id="-163480141" sdttag="goog_rdk_5"></w:sdt>Have an advanced degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field prior to the position start date.
    • Demonstrate effective teaching potential for a wide range of courses in the public policy curriculum, including both core and advanced elective courses.
    • Demonstrate an interest in science and technology policy issues. 
    • Demonstrate potential for administrative service to the Department, such as program management and assessment or student advising.
    • Demonstrate potential for service to the Institute and Community.
    • Be able to contribute in meaningful ways to the college's continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism, and individual differences.
