    Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit to sub-theme 34 on "Exploring Paradox's Meta-Theoretical Potential for Theorizing" at the European Group of Organization Studies' (EGOS) 39th annual colloquium in Cagliari, Italy. The conference will take place on July 6-8, 2023.

Our purpose is to bring together a group of researchers who share an interest in the potential of paradox theory to describe and explain the complexity of our time, including the increasing polarization of our society, irreconcilable goals that organizations confront, and individuals' struggles with competing roles and identities. In addition to exploring paradox as a meta-theory, we will explore links to related approaches such as dialectics and duality in organizational theorizing.

If you are interested, we encourage you to submit a short paper (3,000 words) by January 10, 2023.

    • You can access the full call for papers here
    • The detailed instructions for short paper submission can be found here.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact us.

    Best regards,

    The subtheme convenors:

    Jonathan Schad (VU Amsterdam), j.schad@vu.nl

Miguel Pina e Cunha (Universidade NOVA), mpc@novasbe.pt
