I am thrilled to announce that Franz Wohlgezogen of the University of Melbourne has been appointed as the inaugural Secretary Historian for the Organizations and the Natural Environment Division of the Academy of Management. This appointment follows a competitive selection process, reflecting Franz's exceptional qualifications and dedication to ONE's mission.
Franz has played several key roles in the ONE community over the years, demonstrating his commitment to advancing our division. Notably, he served as a panelist at and co-organizer of our 2023 AOM Plenary session, offering valuable insights and fostering engaging dialogue. In addition, he is currently in ONE's Impact Team, where he contributes meaningfully to initiatives that enhance our division's influence and reach.
In his role as Secretary Historian, Franz will take the lead on preserving and documenting ONE's rich history, ensuring our records remain accessible and organized for future generations. His responsibilities will also include maintaining up-to-date historical archives, and recording minutes of division meetings, both vital to ONE's continued success.
For those of you who don't know Franz yet, he is an accomplished scholar specializing in governance, strategy, and environmental sustainability. His work delves into collaborative leadership, organizational change, and interorganizational alliances and networks. At the University of Melbourne, Franz served as the local champion for the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
