Scholarship on business sustainability increasingly views organizations as embedded within natural systems, conceptualized through the planetary boundaries framework (Bansal et al., 2025; Whiteman et al., 2013; Williams et al., 2025). Drawing from ecology and biophysical system science, the planetary boundary framework provides both the conceptual and empirical depth to study how organizations affect-and are affected by-key ecological processes (Whiteman et al., 2013). However, integrating the planetary boundary framework into organizational research remains a challenge.

If you are investigating how organizations navigate the ecological limits of our planet, we invite you to submit to the 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 "𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀".
