    Colleagues,

Are you tired of on-line zoom meetings? Would you rather be swimming in a pool, rather than sitting at a computer? Yep, I get it.

But, the Sustainability Centres Workshop is not like other conferences. Over 3 days, we will collectively design the business school of the future with other centre directors,. If this sounds useful and fun, I encourage you to join me for our 2021 Workshop on July 12-15, hosted on the SCOOCS online platform. (Register by July 1).

Besides thinking creatively about how we can not only imagine, but enact a desirable future, here are some other reasons to join us:

    1. Network with at least 50 other centre directors, who are at various stages of their maturing process.
    2. Engage in peer-lead conversations on specific topics that drill down into achieving impact through research, teaching, and outreach.
    3. Learn about the frontier of sustainability practice in a multi-sector dialogue day

The Network for Business Sustainability has been hosting this workshop for 10 years, but the real starts are our local hosts: Vienna University of Economics and Business and the FH Wien University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication. You will get the magic of Vienna virtually.

Although the room is largely full, we do have a few slots for those of you who suffer from the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). Below are more details – please register now!

Registration: Registration is €100 and enables active engagement in all sessions. Please register by July 1.

Agenda: The full program is here. You can also see details on the breakouts and on our Multi-Sector Dialogue for Sustainable Transformation.

Hosts: The Workshop is hosted by the Center for Sustainability Transformation and Responsibility (STaR) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) at the FH Wien University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication.

About the Sustainability Centres Community: The Sustainability Centres Community (SCC) is managed by the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS). Since 2012, the SCC has brought together sustainability centres from business schools around the world to share ideas - all with the aim of advancing knowledge and practice on business sustainability. Biennial SCC workshops connect business school sustainability/ responsibility centres to share common challenges and identify solutions. Outputs from the 2016 and 2018 workshops are available online.
