    Is social media a help or a hindrance for doctoral researchers in our field? Is it a tool for procrastination or way to connect with key people in SIM and ONE? How do (or should) PhD students use social media and what are their experiences and strategies in using social media in our field?

    Featuring a panel discussion with some highly active and experienced SIM/ONE doctoral researchers on social media and breakouts to discuss all the pros and cons, share some experiences, and meet your fellow PhD community. This will be a conversation with doctoral students, for doctoral students. We'll find out what doctoral researchers talk about and why, and what effects social media has on their professional role and identity.
