Please join us on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at AOM at 8:00 am EDT for a PDW on Broadening Our Sight to System Transformation: Doing Research that Matters in the Anthropocene (Session 273 on the program): https://aom2020.aom.org/meetings/virtual/6fow2Jh4qkZQnLQTT. (Sponsors: SIM, ONE, MSR)

Panelists include the co-organizers: Sandra Waddock (Boston College), who will frame the session discussing the importance of new narratives and memes, and David Wasieleski (Duquesne), who will speak on the importance of integrating art into our research.

    Panelists include:

    • David Korten (Living Economies Forum), who will argue for a living systems perspective)
    • Martina Linnenluecke (Macquarie), who will discuss grand challenges in the context of the Asia-Pacific region, emphasizing achievable sub-challenges
    • Laura Albareda (LUT), who will emphasize the need for both collective action and polycentric management approaches in dealing with grand challenges.
    • Steve Brammer (Bath), who will reflect on how scholars can contend with challenges associated with impact-oriented scholarship.
    • Erica Steckler (UMass Lowell), who will highlight the role of authenticity n organizations to meaningfully address stakeholder wellbeing-including that of the natural environment.
